The Most Underused Growth Tool in Podcasting Is Already in Your Contact List

You don't need more listeners to grow your podcast.
You need to stop ignoring the ones you've already built relationships with.
Your past guests are one of the most powerful and most neglected growth assets you have.
Why Guests Are Different
Your average listener loves your show. Your guests have a stake in it.
They were on it. Their name and their expertise are attached to it. When your show grows, they look good too. Which means they have every reason to help promote it.
Most podcasters never give them the chance.
Make It Ridiculously Easy
The number one reason guests don't share your episode isn't that they don't want to. It's that you made it harder than it needed to be.
A raw Spotify link is not shareable content. A graphic, a caption, and a direct ask? That is.
Take 20 minutes after each episode drops to put together something your guest would actually be proud to post. You'll be surprised how many of them follow through when you make it that easy.
The Long Game
Beyond the share and the review and the collab, there's something even more valuable. The relationship itself.
A guest you stayed in touch with can refer you to their network, invite you on their show, or become a client down the road. None of that happens if the relationship ends the moment you stop recording.
Your contact list is a growth strategy. Start treating it like one.
